The A – Z Challenge; D: Can’t Fix It If You Don’t Know It’s Broken

I have included this button or some variation thereof on my site for a long time. It’s job was to provide a casual reader with the chance to get a random post whenever it was clicked. It used to be that on a WordPress site, you could type /?random after the URL and it would return, are you ready, a random post. Well, this still works on sites that are hosted on WP but since I am self-hosted it seems to have stopped working and I don’t know how long it’s been broken. Fortunately for me, I found a simple plugin that redirects the URL anywhere, including to random. Since WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are all so different I can’t say how well it will work for you, if at all. The site for it is Redirect URL to Post.
