So, over the last week and a half, maybe two weeks, I have been working on getting what I call the “mechanical part” of the blog up and ticking while spending a few days in the mountains with my son and grandson for Father’s Day. Life is interesting, though. I’ve decided that since I am on Godaddy hosting already I will move this blog and possibly others to their managed WordPress hosting. This should free up space on my regular hosting plan as well as bring my inodes under control. We’ll see.
One of the perquisites of the new plan is an additional URL. This blog has been a subdomain of my main site, Herb Thiel dot Com, for a good portion of its life so welcome to https://thehapswithherb.com/ The Haps With Herb dot Com. I wanted to get this update posted and then carry on.

Go with your instincts, Herb—
Thanks John!
I’m on GoDaddy’s managed WP plan also. It saved a lot of money with a few required changes.
I have a good feeling about it.
I’ve heard “may you live in interesting times” be used as a blessing … and as a curse 🙂 Glad to hear it’s a blessing for you!
I like the changes you’ve made!
Thank you!
I’m still having WP issues, but many those happy engineers will figure it out soon…
Good luck! Well, you will be on sabbatical…
Yes….I need sleep.
