Eleven Questions

Eleven Questions

As I mentioned yesterday, Brothers Campfire nominated me for the Sunshine Blogger Award, which was a really cool honor to me, until I read the rules. One of the rules is “Nominate 11 new blogs.” It was then I started realizing, I haven’t been out blog hopping for a long time and many of the links that I did have were not even active anymore. I don’t have 11 blogs I follow regularly enough to nominate. Well, I decided to go making the rounds again which I will share at some point including some older ones I used to follow and looking at some of the ones that were on Brothers Campfire.

But, I also have enjoyed the questionnaire things that used to be called memes, so I am going to attempt to answer his eleven questions.

How many days would you last in solitary confinement? How would you pass the time? I think I would do okay in solitary confinement, especially if I could have books. Of course, this is from the perspective of having no knowledge or experience.

What is the strangest thing you believed as a child? I don’t really think I believed anything strange, even though I had a vivid imagination.

Are you more inclined to “build your own empire” or unleash the potential of others? I think I help people realize their potential and they go on to build empires where I’m welcome to visit.

In what area of your life are you immature? We would have to define immaturity, but there are a lot of ways I’m immature.

When do you find yourself singing? In the car when I’m alone, with grandkids, and definitely in the shower.

What are you willing to die for? The Truth of God’s Word.

What job would you be terrible at? Bill collector.

What kind of art do you enjoy most? I like reading well written stories and I think that old-fashioned “Southern Gospel” is beautiful.

What is special to you about where you grew up? Rural, small-town Wisconsin with its milk and cheese is a good way to grow up.

What small things make your day better? Running into people I know while I’m working. Pleasant customers.

If all jobs had the same pay and hours, what job would you like to have? I would continue to write websites because, as WordPress used to say, “Code is poetry.”
