Yes, I’m sorry, and even though this is day 87 of the current streak, I just don’t have the time or energy to make a post every single day. Some of you rode with me all the way, every day, and I appreciate it. Many more of you have popped in and out, and I appreciate that, too. I have no intention of giving up blogging, but at this point in my life, I have too many other things going on that will prevent me from maintaining a consistent daily streak. Since I literally; not figuratively, metaphorically, or descriptively, but literally, have thousands of memes in my collection, they will remain a part of this blog. I started this thing back when it was a web log with the intention of practicing writing and that’s what the main thrust will be. You will still see old stuff from the archives along with new pieces. And don’t worry, the memes and comics aren’t going completely away. In fact, I have artisanally curated a random assortment of memes for your perusal.

Daily would never work for me and it seems to be overwhelming you. My once weekly schedule is enough structure to keep me at it, but enough time off to deal with life. I hope you find the right rhythm.

I think it is hard to find the balance between what you want to say, what you have time to say, and what readers have time for. I am struggling with that too.
WordPress isn’t making it easy for me to leave comments on non-wordpress.com blogs. WP also does not post notifications on my dashboard when you answer the comments I leave on your blog. I have to wonder whether they are punishing me or you…
I’m really sorry. I like comments and usually try to respond in a timely manner. I have been busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest so hopefully you are seen replies now.
Or maybe you are not replying to any comments? Looking back on the past week or so of your posts, I do not see any replies from you. Maybe that is why I am not seeing a notification!

You posted daily for 87 days?! Holy cow! I average two posts a month! I’m thoroughly impressed. Also, love the memes. 😛
I’m trying to make a more workable plans which will include the memes as well as more of me actually writing posts.
87 days is quite a streak! I think I once posted two days in a row. It was exhausting.
