Blog Every Day Using Nothing But Memes Challenge – Twenty-three

Herb’s Blog, Herbdate 23879 – 1318

Dear and Appreciated Readers,

Here’s the Haps:

I plan to be around and make my usual visits and try to catch up on blogs on my regular route. Since the reader only goes back a limited amount of time I may miss a few posts and I hope you will accept my apologies. I do plan to go into my comments section and try to respond to everyone who took the time to leave a comment. I really appreciate it.

Camping with my son, son-in-law, and grandsons was great. We weren’t as extravagant as other years, but that was okay. In some ways, it was more relaxing. Still gonna keep going with the memes thing until the end of the month. This week I will be helping out with our Church’s Vacation Bible School. I will be busy, but I will be enjoying myself. In the memetime I have curated another baker’s dozen of bacon memes for your viewing pleasure.

I love all of these. But then I’m the guy with 4 pounds of bacon in my refrigerator.

I’ll stop in next time I’m in the area!

The Emma one reminded me of the first time, many moons ago, that we bought meat directly from the farmer. For some inexplicable reason the farmer had written “Pierre” on the outside of the package. The meat was delicious, but I kept thinking that I really didn’t need to know the animal’s name. I still buy all our meat directly from local farmers, but thank goodness none of them feel compelled to tell me the animals’ names.

That whole thing is just kind of weird in my opinion and I doubt if anyone was ever converted to Veganism by it.
