Dear Happy Campers, Unhappy Campers, and All The Other Kinds Of Campers,
Here’s the Haps:
If all has gone according to plan, I am up in the woods with my son, a couple of my grandsons, and possibly my newest son-in-law. If you are seeing this post, then I have scheduled it correctly. Yay me! We should be coming down the mountain today. I don’t expect that we had any encounters with bears just due to the size of our group, but I will tell you about it if we did. I have actually encountered more bears at my trash can than I ever have in the woods.
By the way, I should have made this disclaimer a long time ago but when working with memes you have to take the grammar and spelling errors with a grain of salt. Sometimes going in and fixing it is more difficult than it’s worth and, shocking as this is, some people don’t care or even notice. But, for the record, I do know the difference between a Kodiak bear and a Kodak bear.

Both types of bears are photogenic…
Have fun! I’ve only seen a pre-teen bear (no, really) whilst hiking Glacier. He (or she) bear-ran off before I recovered from my surprise.
And that’s how they’re supposed to be. It’s when they start getting a taste for people food (or people) that the problems start.
One more reason to not go camping!
Well, we have a big group that includes a bunch of noisy kids and we seldom see too many critters.
Please tell me the difference between a Kodiak Bear and a Kodak bear because I just can’t picture it.
Well, it’s just a matter of how much exposure you’ve had.
