Most Dear & Beloved Mothers,
Here’s the haps:
I wanted to take a break from the current series to wish all of you moms, mothers, aunts, family friends, and others a very happy Mother’s Day. The last two days of the series are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully, a few of these memes and things will bring a smile to your face, as there are some that any parent or childcare giver will relate to. I mention childcare givers because these people frequently spend at least as much time with the child as the parent does, and are or will be an enormous influence in a kid’s life. I lived it growing up with my mom being in and out of hospitals, and my Aunt Gertie loving on me and caring for me. Daughter TNT has been such a caregiver and influencer for many years. Even though she has no biological children, her hand has “rocked many cradles.” Anyway, I hope all of you wonderful and awesome people have a great day. I’ll start this with a link to a radio ad (It wouldn’t embed for whatever reason) for Outback Steakhouse that aired back in the 2010s or something like that. It’s followed by a picture that just strikes me as an embodiment of motherhood. Then some memes interspersed with momisms, followed by a couple of five-minute clips from the Smothers Brothers.
