Here’s the haps:
This post is going to be kind of short but it is something nice and encouraging that I found on the Internet this week and would like to share with you.
An interesting and enthusiastic and inspiring person who has a few years on me is 109-year-old Vincent Dransfield of Little Falls, New Jersey. He lives by himself in his own house, drives around town on his own, makes his own meals, and does his own laundry. The laundry is in his basement and his bedroom is upstairs.
He said he wanted to be a fireman when he grew up and he was one for 80 years. He said when he was 15, during the Depression, he got a job on a dairy farm and could drink all the milk he wanted and they fed him well. He thinks that contributed to why he’s so healthy now. He drinks a cup of coffee a day, likes Italian food, has a beer once in a while but doesn’t really like alcohol and he still drinks Ovaltine.
In this brief news clip, you can see he’s got a sense of humor and enjoys life.

Herb and a couple of his buddies were talking about what they hoped their grandchildren would be saying about them fifty years from now.
“I would like my grandchildren to say, ‘He was successful in business,’” declared the first man.
“Fifty years from now,” said the second, “I want them to say, ‘He was a loyal family man.’”
Turning to Herb, they asked, “So, Herb, what do you want them to say about you in fifty years?”
“Me?” Said Herb, “I want them to say, ‘Boy, he sure looks good for his age, doesn’t he?’”

I like comments and try to respond to them all if I can:
