Here’s the haps:
As I have been doing these posts on places I would like to visit I think some are going to be much easier than others and there are a few pipe dreams coming up in the list. Stretch goals, I’ll call them. That being said, all of these posts really are about places that have piqued my interest in one way or another.
Alaska has always kind of piqued my interest. Fairbanks, Alaska, The Land of the Midnight Sun, is very close to the Arctic Circle, and has daylight most of the time in summer and nighttime most of the time in winter. The town’s population is 32,721, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have an International Airport, FAI, which makes flying there a solid possibility. You can take a cruise there and my wife talked about driving through Canada as well. That might be an adventure in itself, eh? There are tours of the Arctic Circle available as well as Denali National Park. Alaska is a place that is rich in history and that’s really interesting to me as well.
Plus, I grew up listening to stuff like this:
Likelihood of this happening within the next year: 0+%
Likelihood of this happening in my lifetime (Lord willing, as I said in the first couple of posts): 90%
Likelihood of running into someone I know or met on the Internet: 50% or more because I have several readers in Canada and depending on the route I would take it’s not an impossible idea.

I like comments and try to respond to them all if I can:
