Bonus Post – The Other Side Of Law Enforcement

Bonus Post – The Other Side Of Law Enforcement

I read a news aggregator called Complete Colorado. It is similar in style to that of the Drudge Report but is just Colorado. I haven’t written much lately about current events but when I read this story I thought it really gives a good insight into the day-to-day routine life of a police officer. Guys with a very tough job to do. Even though the article is by the elected sheriff of Eagle County, Colorado, I think this is pretty much the way any law enforcement agency’s day might go. Parts of it are unpleasant but I think it is important to read and at least give consideration to. There are some jobs that I could not ever do well nor would I want to even try and this is one of them. Please check out the article: Van Beek: The side of policing you don’t see in the news.

Also, Charlie Daniel’s blog this week talks about the same sort of thing but is not as descriptive. His post is here.
