My Fellow Americans and Followers From Around The World,
Here’s the haps:
Benjamin Franklin famously said, “…in this world, nothing is certain except death and taxes.” I don’t do jokes about death very much but about taxes? Today, in the United States, is the tax filing deadline and so I thought to share some humor and a couple of things to think about in the form of memes.

Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. (Proverbs 23:5)

Oh my, yes. I think we should go back to the pre WWII system that required you to pay what you owed for taxes when you file your return. If the whole population had to actually write that check, you can darn well bet there would be more discipline on taxing and spending.
That would really be great! I would back that.
😆😆😆
Thanks!
😛
Yup!
You would think most Americans would appreciate what DOGE is doing…
I do and I haven’t even burned down a Tesla or anything.
I have really simple tax returns. I don’t complain.
That’s handy, then!
Always wondered at that little pocket in jeans was for…..now I know 🤣
