I finished the A – Z Challenge yesterday but didn’t want to just skip over a chance to tell you about something nice I found on the Internet.
A school bus driver with 66 students on board began to have a medical emergency. She radioed in that she was feeling dizzy and would have to pull over and have someone else take her kids home. Before she was able to pull over safely she passed out and the bus started to veer into the oncoming traffic lane. 13-year-old Dillon Reeves jumped up and eased on the brakes while steering back into the correct lane and hollering for someone to call 911. When the bus was stopped he put it in park. I think he’s pretty levelheaded during the whole thing.

There are some pretty special kids out there and this is one of them. I found the entire incident to be refreshing.
Thanks, John!
That kid rocks.
Have a fabulous day and week. 🙂
I agree! Thanks.
I drove a tractor over our well when I was about that age, but I sure wasn’t driving school buses.
lol. Me either. Yours sounds like an interesting story.
Quite. My quadriplegic aunt was not amused.
That doesn’t sound good.
She was a very intense person. That’s for sure.
That is a story with a good ending.
My favorite kind.
