Here’s the haps:
As a Public Service Announcement to fellow Americans(and for post # 3), this is the autumn time change when we “fall back” one hour. Yes, Daylight Savings Time actually ends but I don’t think it matters what you call it or how you say it, it’s still a nuisance.
Parenting Trick if your kids are at that certain age: We always waited until after we put the little ones to bed, then we turned the clocks back for an extra hour to ourselves.

Those are hilarious, Herb. I’d never thought of most of those instances. The extra hour of work–that probably drives Unions nuts!
Oh, I’m sure it does. When I was a security guard nobody cared that I had to work an extra hour. That’s life.
I need to turn mine back more than an hour…Maybe I can catch up on my writing.
Hah! That’s a great idea.
This was funny. My poor husband thought we were not turning back in Colorado.
We are as far as I know. They do need to quit playing with it, though, I think.
It’s going to get dark really early at night. This year, we are at 72 degree right now and don’t feel like it is winter coming…
I know what you mean. It looks beautiful right now.
It always surprises me
Me too.
I just wish they’d leave time on standard time. Time travel twice a year is exhausting and the illusion of an extra hour of sleep is just that, an illusion. And tonight sunset is 4:52 Ysyyyyy. Happy Fall Back Day Herb. Allan
I agree. They need to leave it alone.
Great stuff. But where were you when I needed you. I forgot to change the clock on my stove and thought my son was late for a party, embarassing myself. 🤣😎🙃
I posted it early in the day, I thought. It snuck up on me too, if that’s any consolation.
🤣😎🙃
Thankfully I don’t work third shift.
I was a security guard for a while.
I did the night shift at Walmart for a summer, but not when the clocks changed.
Oh my
Oh, your
We have done this change so many times I have lost track of whether I am ahead, behind or even.
I wish they would just leave it alone one way or another.
