Herb’s Blog, Herbdate 22917 – 1004
Here’s the haps:
I totally forgot I had done this last November and I started late last year, too. Oh, well. I need to get into better habits of putting writing first and one of the ways I had done this before was to commit to posting something, no matter how inane or banal, every single day. I got out of that and the blog suffered. Now, I’m going to try it again. Since today is the 4th and this is the second post I have done this month, I only have two days to catch up. I’m thinking of a few more meme/cartoon dumps to fill up the empty spaces in my head but I do like a challenge. For the post, I did yesterday I will leave the featured image alone. It’s a stock photo from Pixabay but reflects my fishing skills fairly well and just looks humorous to me for a “Throw It Back Thursday.” Anyway, now I’m only behind by two posts.

I only do two per week usually. Most people are too busy to follow a non-essential blog daily. So my only “real” blog is once a week on Saturday. The other blog js Wordless Wednesday and usually minimal words. 😉

That’s a good point. I actually started this blog out as an exercise to make myself sit down and write daily. Followers and readers Are pretty awesome, though. Commenters are the tops, though.

Haha, that’s funny. I recognize the pen named “Bic”, LOL. It is very hard to post every day since sometimes one is too busy… I am still trying to figure out how to get the font that mimic what comes out of an old typewriter. It looks so cool but very hard to find.
I’m not real sure which one it is, either.
I admire the urge to write daily. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can’t. Lately my struggle has been to read daily.
I have the urge but sometimes the time is a problem. I make an effort to visit a bunch of blogs regularly and fortunately not everyone updates at the same time, lol.
