Here’s the haps:
I’m going to look back and see what I’ve done other years about whether to post my resolutions or goals or whatever you may call them but I don’t know. At least one person I follow, if not more, (Sorry, I don’t have time to look it up at the moment) said the new thing to do is come up with one word to describe the whole thing but I can’t make that work for me.

Everything was pretty funny but the last one, it took me back to 9-11. When people assumed I was inherently a terrorist because there is middle eastern in my blood 😕
Sorry you took it that way. That’s unquestionably wrong.
I was thinking about all the families who confronted school boards this year and were labeled “Domestic Terrorists and extremists.” Or the label given to average Americans as, “They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion…” Or the idea that a God-fearing veteran who takes his rights seriously, especially the right to arm himself, as suspicious. It’s a swipe at the relentless attack the Left has made and makes against anything remotely conservative.
Sorry. It may have been a trigger for you but it was for me, too.
Can’t group the left as one entity. As I said in my most recent post people are in shades of gray. Have I attacked you in any way ? I pretty much sway to the left and have nothing but the utmost respect for you. If on the other you are referring to the media…
Oh yeah, it’s the Media. Journalism used to be an idealistic goal but it’s not what it appears.
Journalism today is yesterday’s gossip rags with agendas. There never seems to be neutral news let alone good news. Its all sensationalism with button pushers just trying one up each other with a headline or for a ratings grab. News today is not made up with journalist’s.
If you voice your opinion without making threats, than you shouldn’t be labeled as a domestic terrorist or extremist. I understand if people are angry and frustrated, but if you cross a line and either make death threats or become physical in any way, that to me is intolerable behavior. That goes for both the right and the left. Just like there is hypocrisy in free speech. It appears only the left have a say. I don’t agree with hate speech…but hate speech falls on both sides.

That could be. Although that person often leaves one-word comments that seem rather cryptic at times. And it’s one of the readers I know in person, lol.

Thanks Bruce. The fires are up north near Boulder and we are (Off the top of my head) 200 miles away.
The one that really cracked me up was the one about the telephone book. Let’s hope that what 2022 develops in people, both right and left, is tolerance for differences. It’s called live and let live.
