Herb’s blog, Herbdate 22083-653:
Every week it is hard for me to pick just one blog to spotlight with my award. There are a lot of great blogs out there to recommend and some of them have a lot of followers and some have only a few. There are many good qualities of many bloggers and there are quite a few that I would like to meet and just pick their brain, find out a little about what makes them tick.
This week I had two on my mind. Both are really neat for different reasons, but I had to decide which one I wanted to award this week. I don’t really have any solid rules, I just pick out a blog I like. This blog is, due to its subject matter much of the time, serious, although she does take a break and do fun stuff and cool quotes and other things, too. Cherie White is an author of books about bullying and often speaks from her personal experience of dealing with bullies in school and in the workplace. Bullying can happen to people of all ages and she is a very encouraging, positive person who exposes how it works. Sometimes she suggests things that, if you have never experienced it, you might think sound like plain ol’ common sense. That is unless you are the target, then some of her ideas are like a light shining through the fog that bullies can get you in.
Of course (obviously?), she can do anything or nothing at all as she wants to with this award, there are no strings attached, no questions to answer, no linkbacks to make or other blogs to tag, but simply, I am offering the “Herb likes this blog and would like to have coffee with this blogger sometime,” award to the interesting, intelligent, anti-bullying crusader, Cherie White at Chateau Cherie.
