We had the whole family here and so I am almost out of time. Let me share my favorite Sousa March with you, The Stars and Stripes Forever, by John Philip Sousa, performed by the US Army Field Band. The lyrics appear in the Closed Captioning. My favorite line is, “Let tyrants remember the day/When our fathers with mighty endeavor/Proclaimed as they marched to the fray/That by their right and by their might it waves forever.

Very good, thanks.
Nice! I love bands
Me too. I like to words, too.
Awesome post! As an American who loves her country and proud Army brat, I love those last few lines! And I’m thankful that at least we got to shoot off fireworks in our own yards (I live in the country). I’m glad you had a great 4th! God bless you!
Thanks. We did too, but let’s keep it our secret, if you please.
I completely understand and my lips are sealed! 😁
